This animation was created with Specular's Infini-D¬ 1.0 3-D software in March 1993, however the file was not rendered until April 1994 (Using Specular's Backburner¬ Program).
The frames were rendered at 768 x 576 pixels (UK TV resolution) on a Mac Quadra 840AV, the 736 frames took 226 hours to complete (over 9 days).
I have created two versions of the movie, 320 x 240 using Apple's 'Cinepak' compressor, and a 640 x 480 version using Apples 'Animation' compressor.
The data rates required to play these movies is more than double that achieved by present standard CD-ROM players, but on a fast machine with good hard disk speed they should play well if copied to your hard drive.
The soundtrack is 22khz 8 bit mono, and has not been fully tested on the new family of 'Power PC' macintosh computers.
